Is Storj shutting down? No. This is a reorganization designed to continue the business; operations, service, and the network are running normally.
Why now? Legacy liabilities predating the current strategy are best resolved in one orderly, court-supervised process; Inveniam has funded the company throughout and supports this step.
Will I keep getting paid / served / supplied? Employees and ordinary-course obligations arising during the process are expected to be paid, subject to customary court approvals; pre-process amounts are handled within the process via the claims agent.
What happens to the token? Its utility in the network is unchanged today. We will not comment on price. Our stated goal is to propose a plan in which token holders can participate in ownership of the restructured company — subject to court approval, legal priorities, and definitive documentation.
