Fast and secure recovery from immutable storage.

Zerto and Storj connect easily using the S3 protocol to extend the Zerto journal with immutable copies stored in an extremely secure and cost effective repository. Easily incorporate immutability into a complete disaster recovery strategy.

Local, same-site replication with additional off-site copy.

Continuous replication to disaster recovery site.

Replication to disaster recovery site plus off-site copy.

Local replication, disaster recovery site, plus off-site copy.

Storj makes disaster recovery more secure with distributed, immutable storage.

Zerto’s integration with Storj S3-compatible storage, offers the benefits of immutability and decentralized storage with a unique security architecture and performance.

Fast restore times.

Erasure coding eliminates latency and parallel uploads and downloads make Storj incredibly fast at transferring large backup files anywhere in the world.

Globally available.

Data is segmented and stored across tens of thousands of global storage nodes. The fastest segments are used to rebuild the file. No extra cost for multi-region storage.

Most secure.

Storj is zero trust and zero knowledge. Server-side encryption is standard with full immutability. Only the data owner can see and access the data.

Low cost.

Around 80% less than AWS. No contracts and no hidden fees mean flexibility and no surprises. And no extra costs for encryption or multi-region.

How it works

Zerto and Storj excel at keeping ransomware out.

Storj and Zerto work together to satisfy the three R’s of data protection: Read, Reach, and Recover.

  • Read - Storj has a zero-trust architecture which can use end-to-end encryption. Data stored on Storj is broken up into 80 segments and stored in different locations across its global network of over tens of thousands of storage nodes. Only 29 of these segments are needed to rebuild the file. No one besides the data owner can ever access the data.
  • Reach - With objects distributed across the global network, this eliminates the cost of region-specific storage.
  • Recover - Zerto has the solution to utilize Storj immutable backups to execute fast recovery. Zerto does near-synchronous replication using a software-only solution with “journal” functionality. This feature makes it easy for rollbacks to be logically grouped together to get the full app online at the same time.

Zerto provides disaster recovery and ransomware resilience.

Zerto, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, empowers customers to run an always-on business by simplifying the protection, recovery, and mobility of on-premises and cloud applications.

Zerto’s cloud data management and protection platform eliminates the risks and complexity of modernization and cloud adoption across private, public, and hybrid deployments.

The simple, software-only platform uses continuous data protection at scale to converge disaster recovery, backup, and data mobility.
